Server-side scanning — nothing installs on your device

Download Files from Any URL

Paste a URL. FileGrab instantly scans the page and surfaces every downloadable file — PDFs, videos, images, audio, archives — ready for you to grab individually or all at once.

How It Works

Three steps from URL to downloaded file — no extensions, no software.

1

Paste the URL

Copy any webpage URL — a download page, blog post, file repository, or media site — and paste it into the FileGrab scanner.

2

See every file

Our server fetches the page, parses all linked resources, and presents a sorted list of every downloadable file with name, type, and size.

3

Download what you need

Click to download individual files instantly, or tick multiple files and export a ZIP (Pro). No waiting, no queues.

Every File Type, Covered

FileGrab detects any linked file on a page — not just common formats. If there's a direct download link, FileGrab will surface it.

Download Images from a URL in Bulk

Need to pull all the images off a product page, a portfolio site, or a press kit? FileGrab detects every image linked on the page — JPG, PNG, WebP, SVG, GIF — and lets you download them all in one shot.

This is particularly useful for designers collecting reference images, marketers downloading brand assets from a client's site, or developers scraping placeholder imagery from a staging environment.

Filter results to images only, select all, and download your ZIP. What used to take twenty minutes of right-clicking takes about ten seconds with FileGrab.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I download files from any URL?

FileGrab works on any publicly accessible URL. It fetches the page server-side and detects every linked file — documents, media, images, archives, and more. Pages that require login credentials cannot be scanned, but any publicly reachable page works.

How is this different from just right-clicking and saving?

Right-clicking only downloads one file at a time, and you have to navigate to each file link manually. FileGrab scans the entire page, finds all downloadable links automatically, shows you a list, and lets you grab everything in one go. It's the difference between picking up items one by one versus filling a shopping cart.

Does FileGrab work on mobile?

Yes. Because FileGrab is server-side and runs in a browser tab, it works perfectly on iOS Safari, Android Chrome, and any other mobile browser. No app download required.

What happens if a page has hundreds of files?

FileGrab handles large file lists gracefully. Results are paginated and filterable by type, so you can quickly find what you need. With a Pro account, you can select all and download a ZIP without downloading each file individually.

Is there a limit on file size?

Individual file downloads are not size-capped. For Pro bulk ZIP downloads, each ZIP supports up to 5 GB total. Files too large for a single ZIP are automatically split into multiple archives.
